Installation paths: Android APK, iOS browser, and web
We offer three ways to access astro38 on mobile. The Android APK is a direct download from our website—no Google Play Store needed, which means faster updates and no app removal risk. The iOS browser path uses Safari or Chrome to access astro38.id just as you would on a desktop, offering the same full-featured experience without needing to jailbreak or sideload. The web version works on any phone browser (Android Chrome, iOS Safari, Firefox) and is best for users who prefer not to install an app.

App vs. browser: why the astro38 app wins
The astro38 app is faster than the browser because it caches game assets locally on your phone—graphics, sounds, and dealer video streams load without waiting for a fresh download each session. Push notifications alert you when live Roulette tables open, when your withdrawal clears, or when Liga 1 odds shift. The app remembers your login across sessions, so you tap once and you're in. The browser is convenient if you prefer not to install software, but it reloads assets every time and uses more data. For users in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, or Medan with moderate mobile data plans, the app's offline-cache feature saves bandwidth over a month. The app also works better with intermittent 4G signal—if your connection drops during a betting session, the app buffers and reconnects automatically, whereas the browser often requires you to reload the page.
Device compatibility and system requirements
We support Android 7.0 and later on any phone with at least 150 MB free storage. Most phones from the last five years meet this spec. On iOS, Safari works with iOS 12 and later (iPhone 5s and newer). You don't need jailbreak, root access, or special permissions. The app runs on budget phones just as well as premium models. If your phone is older or has very low storage, the browser version is a good alternative—it works on any device that can open a web page, and it doesn't take up local space.
Mobile gaming is not a secondary option on astro38—it is how most of our players access live-dealer tables and sports betting every day.
Common installation issues and solutions
If you see a security warning when installing the Android APK, it is because we distribute directly rather than through the Google Play Store. This is normal and safe. To proceed, go to your phone's Settings, find Security or Apps, and enable "Unknown Sources" (or "Install from unknown sources" depending on your Android version). On older Android versions, this toggle is in the main Security menu. On newer Android 10+ phones, you grant install permission to your browser app specifically. Once enabled, tap the APK file again and select Install. If you see a certificate warning, this means your phone's date or time is incorrect—check your device clock and correct it. If the app crashes after installation, try clearing your phone's cache (not app data) by going to Settings → Apps → astro38 → Storage → Clear Cache. Restart the phone and try again. If these steps don't resolve the issue, contact our support team via live chat inside the web version (astro38.id) and we'll troubleshoot with you.
Data, permissions, and account security on your phone
The astro38 app requests only the permissions it needs: internet access (to connect to our servers), and phone state (to pause video if a call comes in). We do not request access to your contacts, files, camera, or location. Your login credentials are encrypted locally on your phone using industry-standard encryption—they are never stored in plain text. When you log in, your credentials are transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted), and our servers verify your password without storing it directly (we store a cryptographic hash). Your payment and KYC documents are stored on our secure servers, not on your phone. If you lose or sell your phone, your astro38 account remains safe because we use multi-factor verification (email and SMS) for account recovery. To sign out, tap Account Settings → Sign Out, which clears your local session but leaves your account intact. You can reset your password anytime, and we recommend changing your password if you ever share your phone with someone else.
Mobile data usage and offline features
The astro38 app uses approximately 30–50 MB per hour for video-streamed live-dealer games, and 2–5 MB per hour for slot games (which load once and play locally). If you watch multiple Roulette rounds without playing, data usage is lower. The app caches game graphics, dealer interface elements, and UI assets on first download, so your second session uses about non-specific info less data than your first. Slot games like Aviator, Sweet Bonanza, and Gates of Olympus are cached entirely—once downloaded, they run almost offline and only phone home for bet results. If you lose internet mid-game, you can reconnect within a few minutes without losing your session. For users on limited data plans, we recommend connecting to Wi-Fi before your first session, letting the app cache assets, then playing on mobile data afterward. The app does not use background data when closed, so it won't drain your plan silently.
